How the Landmanager Application works

How the system works:
the Landmachine bot reads the parcel information from each group it is a member of, these parcels are keyed to your login only so nobody else can see your details.
These parcels are put into a 'System discovery group' in your parcel manager. You can view the parcels in this list, but you will not be able to manage them until they go through their initial discovery.

System Discovery:
As mentioned, the bot gets the basic parcel information from the groups; the bot must visit each parcel and gather additional information.
Once this is complete the system will move the parcels out of the Discovery group and into YOUR "Default Landgroup". This process is very quick, infact it takes about 2 seconds per parcel.
If You notice parcels 'stuck' in the System Discovery Group, that probably means the bot was unable to gather the additional information it needs and manual intervention will be required.
I will monitor these and figure out resolutions for each. In my testing experience sofar this happens on occasion when a landing point is set outside the parcel borders due to subdividing.
Please see 'Landing Points' later in this document. Once the parcels are placed into your Default Landgroup you can then begin managing those parcels by placing them into one of the other landgroups you have created.

A Landgroup is a collection of parcels. Each landgroup can have settings that will be applied specifically to the parcels placed in that landgroup.
For Example lets say you want all your Snow parcels to have a different price, or description set, or all your water parcels, the point is you can have as many different landgroups
as you want all with their own settings, additionally if you make a change to any of your landgroups the parcels will be re-configured with that information. This works great to quickly and accurately reprice parcels.

For now, the system will not make any changes until I verify any changes you make to your settings and discuss those with you if necessary.  Changes you make to landgroups or moving parcels among groups are automatic - Once you drag a parcel to a group the Landmachine bot will pickup that changed and process it very quickly.

If you need any assistance or ideas on how to setup new landgroups please don't hesitate to ask.

Landing Points ** NOTE this has been fixed, the bot correctly handles landing point settings now.
I highly recommend either a) clearing landing points or b) explicitly setting them to a central location on your parcels. For normal shaped parcels (square, rectangle) the system calculates the 'middle' of the parcel
which seems to work well, there are occasions where parcels span over roads and the 'center' of the parcel is on someone elses land. For parcels like this manual intervention will be required.

Landgroup Configuration
the landgroup creation/editing screen should be very familiar to you, it is almost a clone of the SL Viewer Parcel Editor screen with a few notable additions as described below:
Parcel Name & Description can have Dynamic Macros, for example %size% expands to the parcel size, %rating% expands to the simulator rating. The full list of macros you can use is below under "Expandable Macros".

Price Model/Price: right now there is only 1 pricing model 'Fixed', which means the number entered under price will be the price PER Sq.m, ie if you list the price as 10.0, a 512 in this parcelgroup would be
sold for 5120, a 1024 parcel would be 10240. Dynamic pricing such as 'Dutch Auctions' are in the works for the near future.

Clear Parcel: when the bot sets up a parcel, or resets a parcel it can optionally clear all items on the parcel before placing new items.
This is highly recommended to leave checked.

Inventory Folder: Each parcelgroup can have a folder of items placed on it during setup, I will work with you on setting these up, its quite easy to do.

As I said, if you have any questions just ask.
